A digitized electronic value document is the digital version of value support documents transmitted to Mexico's Single Window for Foreign Trade (VUCEM). It includes the digitized commercial invoice and other documents proving the price paid or payable for goods. It differs from the COVE (Electronic Value Voucher) in that COVE is a document generated directly in VUCEM with invoice data, while the digitized document is a scan or digitization of the original document transmitted electronically.
