Transshipment is the transfer of goods from one transport vehicle to another during transit, without the goods formally entering the country where the operation takes place. In maritime transport, it is common for containers to be transshipped at hub ports like Panama, Kingston, or Long Beach before reaching their final destination. Transshipment adds transit time (generally 3-7 days per transshipment) but allows shipping lines to optimize routes and offer connections to ports without direct services.

LogisticsFCL (Full Container Load)

LogisticsOcean Freight
