The IMMEX Program (Manufacturing, Maquiladora, and Export Services Industry) allows companies to temporarily import raw materials, inputs, machinery, and equipment needed to produce export goods without paying import duties, VAT, or countervailing duties. It is Mexico's primary export promotion instrument, used by thousands of maquiladora companies in sectors such as automotive, electronics, aerospace, and textiles.
