A correction letter is a simplified mechanism for communicating minor errors in a cleared customs declaration. It is used for corrections that do not affect duty amounts or substantially modify the operation, such as errors in the importer's name, tax ID, marks, serial numbers, or descriptive merchandise data. It differs from a supplementary declaration, which is required when the correction affects duties, tariff classification, or customs value.

CustomsCustoms Audit (Post-Clearance)

CustomsCustoms Clearance
The complete set of procedures and formalities required for goods to legally enter or exit a country through customs.
