The value acknowledgment receipt (acuse de valor) is the digital confirmation that VUCEM issues when it accepts and validates a value document — either a COVE (Electronic Value Certificate) signed by the customs broker or an MVE (Electronic Value Declaration) signed by the importer. It contains a unique identification number that must be referenced in subsequent customs documents.
